Moby Dick – Heslacher Hallenbad
When built in 1929 this indoor swimming pool in Stuttgart-Heslach was the first pool in Germany offering the possibility to swim 50m lanes. Being the biggest indoor swimming pool in the country at that time and due to its beautiful architecture it attracts a lot of people and photographers. Therefore I´m honored to have been given permission to take pictures of this pool during closing hours. The one thing I did not anticipate was the „hot bathing day“. That gave me a lot of trouble with my gear but fortunately a few of those pictures turned out quite alright.
